Monthly Creature: Adrian Pixies! 

Still working on CSS script for the site, guys. Until that is up and running I am afraid I'll postpone revealing the official Creature Feature page. Good news, however, is that the information will be displayed on this page until then.

Adrian Pixies: Information

Troublesome creatures who enjoy more than their fair share of tricks, Adrian pixies are strange, alien-like animals with wings resembling butterflies and their bodies a bizarre mix of inhuman characteristics. Their bodies usually follow one specific color pattern whether it be yellow, blue, purple or green. They often have long, pointed ears and slender limbs. Their legs are bent in an irregular, almost dog-like fashion and end in two long, talon-like toes. Their hands end in long, sharp, fingers (three per hand). Pixies are perhaps the smallest creatures of all Adra - small enough to floss the teeth of a Fluff Dragon without him knowing. Think Tinker Belle. Other than these common characteristics pixies are independent creatures, not really looking like anyone else in their kind so it is easy to have fun.

Pixies are located in the small island off the shore of Mainland Adra known only as the Oasis - the kingdom of magic, heroes, and legends of old. Pixies themselves may not have much magic but they often use magical dust from mushrooms to create magical happenings (and some mischief).

For the contest: Pixies have not made their way into the stories of Adra but will be seen soon so have fun! No two pixies are quite alike so you will be able to truly experiment with these mystic creatures.
         Art: These pieces may be anything the artist wishes them to be and can either be digital or traditional art.
         Writing: If one would rather write a poem or short story involving the Featured Creature this would be a considered a different competition and be featured on the Pixie Page along with the art winners.
